Have you ever wondered how to set a goal that will score big in your life?

The New Year is just around the corner so it’s time to start thinking about what it is you want for the year.  Take the time now to start planning and set goals for “You” in the New Year.  Setting goals will give you a vision and a plan to achieve what you want this year.

Maybe you think goal setting is not that important right now or that you don’t have the time. Think again!  It’s easier to set goals and expectations for others, because that way we don’t have to be accountable to ourselves.  It’s time to focus on you and start living the life you want.

Your heart, lungs and brain are vital to you living. Without them, you don’t exist. Goals serve much the same purpose.  Consider them the fuel for your life spirit. Take the time and plan what you want to get out of your life.  Stop living your life vicariously through others; make the life you are living, the life you want.

Goal setting is the foundation of a successful life.  A builder wouldn’t construct a home without a blueprint first. A pilot can’t fly a plane without first submitting a flight plan. You can’t create an amazing life without knowing what you want – goals.

If you are not reviewing or planning your goals for next year, consider this a wakeup call! Success in any endeavor does not happen by accident.  It’s the result of deliberate action, decisions, conscious effort and immense persistence.  Success requires goals – end of story!
